Wendy was born and raised in Montclair, New Jersey. She is currently a progressive entrepreneur with a thriving personal business as an ‘Advanced Product Consultant’ with Mary Kay Inc. Her business with the support of preferred customers, partner with the Mary Kay Foundation to support the need to end Domestic Violence among women and children, and to support the research that cares for all cancers that affect women.
EDUCATION:
Wendy is a proud graduate of Montclair High School Class of 1980, where her leadership skills began to flourish and develop. Seeking higher education, she attended Howard University, in Washington, DC, graduating in 1985 with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing with a Concentration in Banking and Finance.
EXPERIENCE:
Wendy is an established business woman with 25 plus years of success in sales management in Corporate America with Tandy Corporation and AT&T Inc., the world’s largest telecommunications company. Though she excelled in sales, and was certified in Project Management, Wendy exercised her passion for the empowerment of people, thus her management skills developed in the area of behavioral health and social services, with several years working with Youth Consultation Service, “YCS” as Director of Recruitment and Licensing, of the Infant & Early Childhood Foster Care, and Therapeutic Treatment Home programs.
COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Wendy serves as a disciple of Christ. As a lifetime member of the Union Baptist Church of Montclair, she serves in various leadership roles with one being the Church Clerk. As a survivor of domestic violence, her passion for the well being of healthy children and families, led her to serve several years as a board member, and an officer on the educational executive boards of the Neighborhood Child Care Center, of Montclair, and the East Orange Child Development Corporation Head Start and Early Childhood Programs.
FAMILY:
Wendy cherishes with a grateful heart the gift of 20 plus years of marriage, and is married to her ‘Sunday School Crush’, Mark Aaron, and together they are blessed to nurture, love and support five young adult men, one vivacious daughter, and three beautiful grandchildren.
